Hi there, my name is Jon. I got back into modeling last year but haven't completed anything yet lol. I spent alot of money on kits and tools then got ahold of facebook groups and lost my appetite because of all the negativity there. Anyway, ironically I have my own facebook page, it's called Plastic Model Kit Instructions. It's a free place where people can come and ask if they lost their set or bought a kit and for whatever reason there isn't any there. I don't do it for the money because it's free so I am not hawking anything here. If you have instructions you don't mind sharing, let me know. I am looking for a Cessna 150 TIA right now for a guy.
So, I am passing the love down to my kids, my son Ty is 15 and he's into tanks and artillery, Zack is 12 and he likes Naval ships and cars and my little girl Sara is 11 and she likes dioramas......well the painting part of it. I myself love big old ugly bombers. I grew up in the airel firefighting industry so I have an affinity for surplus WW2 aircraft. Right now, I have a Fairely Rotodyne n my bench that I am going to make into a fire bomber, it's a "what if" kind of thing. I also have a B-36 Peacemaker on deck.Glad to be here.
