Hello everyone..
This is Ting from Philadelphia, or from China originally.
My first model was Mosquito when I was still a pupil - it's 25 years ago.. You can imagine, what I did back then was just assemble them. No sanding, no painting, no weathering of course. I picked up building model when I graduated from the university, stopped when my kids born, and months ago picked up the hobby again.
However, this time I am in a different country. I am now learning how to add details, use after-markets, and achieve realistic weathering. I am now focusing on aircrafts mainly in 1/48 scale (some in 1/72 since 1/48 would be too big).
So far, I've finished 5: 1/35 BMPT from Meng (very nice kit), 1/35 T-90 from Zvezda (not bad), 1/72 A-10 from Academy (disaster), 1/72 EF-111A from Hasegawa(very nice kit), and 1/48 Eurofighter Typhoon from Revell (not bad). The kit I am now working on is 1/72 Su-27 from Hasegawa.
All in all, nice to find this forum, and nice to know you all.
