Cool, I got that quick. Aaron is the main modulator. You can see him hosting the bi-monthly Product Review video. Very nice guy, but FSM has been going through a lot of changes lately and has been very busy.

Sorry Jay, you’re not the first complaint about it. It started after the "change". Time was, after the first post you could post immediately, apparently not now. I think it has chased some new members off. You may need to query the Aaron to see what the deal is.

Hey guys, any chance you could shed some light on how long it is until my posts no longer need to be approved by a moderator? I get the purpose of it, just wondering how long it lasts.

Howdy Tex Welcome Sign, Welcome to the forums.
Where are you in Texas? I grew up in Dallas until I was 9, graduated High School in Austin, studied to be an aircraft mechanic in Waco and worked as an aircraft mechanic in Houston.

Hey everyone,

Been combing through the forums for awhile now and finally gave in and made an account. Havent done much modelling since i started college, but am trying to get back into it now that im almost finished with schooling.

Bought a couple inexpensive tamiya kits fromt the local Hobby Lobby (Pz II, Sdkfz 251 etc) and they are going alright, just experimenting on them. I do however, have a Ford Quad Artilllery Tractor and a Sherman III that I plan to be starting soon. Just waiting on some reference books to arrive.

Cheers!
