Hello from Istanbul
Posted by Nezih Icoz on Wednesday, December 9, 2015 6:28 AM

Hello all,

First i am glad to join this forum. My name is Nezih Icoz, I am 35 years old and working in advertising & marketing industry as an art director, photograph retoucher and illustrator, over 15 years.

Ever since my childhood i've been interested in aviation, war history and military vehicles. Top Gun Movie has been changed my life as so many kids in 80s. My first model my was an Airfix 1/48 Messerschmitt Bf109F. It was my mom's gift for my 11th birthday.  (I was very sad and angry because i was expacting Tomcat Smile ). But after that i addicted to propeller airplanes. Now I love to build and collect any type of model kits in any scales but 1/72 WWII airplanes still taking big part of my stash. Thanks you for reading

Best Wishes

Nezih Icoz

Welcome to the Forums Nezih!  Glad to have you with us!

I have built lots of 1/72 planes but as I am now 75 years old with failing eyesight and shaking hands I am changing over to 1/48 as they are a little easier for me.  I started building when I was 6 years old so I've been at it for a long time.  Whatever I see that I like, I build.  My stash will keep me building for the next 250 years (if I don't buy any more).Wink Enjoy.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.
