Hi everyone. I'm kind of new to modeling. I helped my dad when I was a kid but that has been 20 years since I have worked on one. I have collected models for the last few years and just finished my first model on my own. I'm not good or even average but I'm hoping to learn.
I have two questions that I'm not sure where to ask them. I put decals on my Sherman tank and the areas around the decals are "shiny" from the decal solvent (?) that I sprayed on. Is there away to keep this from happening? Should I spray the whole tank with something to flatten/dull the final product?
My second question is about an airbrush. I want to get one but I've never used one before. I'm kind of intimidated by them but I think it would help make my models look better. Any suggestions on which airbrushes are good for starters and any suggestions on a book or website with tips for starters?
