Welcome to the nut house!  If you want "serious" modeling, I think there are other forums for that.  But if you want a great forum with a bunch of fun guys who are so supportive and encouraging in your quest to better your modeling skills, then you've come to the right place!  I've been at this hobby for 38 years and I swear I'm still learning new tips and tricks thanks to the folks here on this forum.  They put the "Fine" in "Fine Scale Modeller"!

Eric

PS.  You're ships look great to me!  I'm more of an airplane guy.  If I had any lick of talent for ships, I'd build those as well.  Battleships were always my favorites.

Hi from Indonesia!

I built some 1:144 airplanes and quite a number of gunplas for about 3 years, but mostly I just build them out of the box with minimal painting and modifications.

Recently I'm interested to 1:350 ships, so now I'm trying to build my models more seriously. Still new to painting, finishing, and detailing techniques.

I hope I could learn more from you all :D

1:2000 Combined Fleet flagship, Yamato

1:2000 fleet:

Yamato, Nagato, Kirishima, Shinano, Soryu, Atago, Tone

1:350 fleet:
Bismarck(front half of superstructure)
Yamato(hull)
Indianapolis(waiting for paints)
