Hiya Folks!
Posted by Donanton on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 11:09 AM

Ive been modeling on and off for  years and of course have moved about on various forums, mostly rubbish, which brought me here as you fokls seem to me knowledgeable and helpful.

I mostly built models and didnt really paint them as I really have no idea about painting armor or planes.  Time to dive in.

I currently have a hasegawa harrier2B, dragon pzIV J, and an italieri 1/72 stug3G in the wings ready to be built.

Welcome to the Forums!  Glad to have you aboard!

You've come to the right place.  Most of the members are in the same boat.  I've been building for 69 of my 75 years and have loved every minute of it (well almost every minute Wink). I build whatever strikes my fancy.  I have learned a lot from the members here.  They are a great bunch who are very knowledgeable and they are ready, willing and able to help out with any questions/problems that you may have.  Don't be afraid to ask questions. That's the way to learn.  Don't forget to post pics of your builds. Enjoy.

Wow, thanks for the warm welcome!  I have just one question.

Does everyone have to wait a day for their posts to be approved or just new members?  I know this is for catching spam bots and the like.

It's just new members. Usually this probation period is pretty quick (a day or 2), but I'm know of some members whose probation lasted for a few days. It will pass.
