HELLO ALL
Posted by XF-15DCC on Saturday, June 4, 2016 8:18 PM

Hi all,

New to the forum, retired from the USAF 10 years ago agter doing 22 years active duty. Worked as a maintainer on T-38 and F-15C. Did a bit on the F-16 and A-10.

Looking for something to do when time permits. Tried model railraoding but didnt like it, tried RC aircraft and its too dam $$ and with more regulations pending, why bother so looks like I go back to a past time of my youth, building model aircraft.

A lot of good stuff on the site. Hope to start building something at the end of summer so until then I'll just snoop around.

Wlcome aboard Kevin, I have tried the same hobbies as you and came up with the same conclusions, although I still have RC, just no place to fly them.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

I still have a few RC stuff around but really thinking of getting rid of it all. There is something about putting time into detailing an RC and picking up the pieces that is kind of a turn-off to the hobby.
