Welcome to the forums Peter. Mighty nice to have you join us here. There are specific groups on Facebook that are for the selling/trading of model kits and accesories.

Welcome to the forum! I'm from the Fredericksburg area myself, but work up in Fairfax, good to have another member from the area!

As to spare parts, like it was already said before, selling/buying/trading is prohibited on these forums, however, another resource you may want to explore is the local IPMS club. The NOVA IPMS chapter is held at Fairfax High School usually the first Wednesday of every month (but not always), it's free to attend and they always (at least all the times I have gone) have a table set up with boxes of spare parts to take and to leave for free.

Anyways, welcome to the forum!

Welcome Peter Welcome Sign Glad your here.

You would post your question about spare parts in the approate section, I.E. aircrft parts in the aircraft section. There is no selling on the forums so someone would need to PM you with details.

Now if someone has something they want to give away that's a diffrent story. The details would need to be PM,ed as well though.

Back in the hobby after a 20 year hiatus. Former aircraft mechanic and in school for Mechanical Engineering. Currently trying to finish an experimental airplane I picked up a few years ago. Despite all this I still finding time for scale modeling. Blown away by the current state of the hobby. Forums and YouTube have really kicked me into another level of modelling. They've also reminded me that no matter how good you think you are, there's probably someone better. Weathering is my biggest weakness but I'm progressing. Even though I'm into mostly aircraft, some of these tank and figurine guys are out of this world. Depressing and inspiring at the same time. Anyway, just wanted to say hello. Also, where would one post about wanting to buy spare parts from kits? I've got some conversions in the queue that I'm sure someone has unused parts from certain kits I could use. Hello and thanks again!
