Welcome! Very nice work. I personally have never built a car of any sort that I didn't feel looked like a piece of junk after it was done. Vehicles being my kryptonite, I'm always just shy of in awe of modelers who are talented in that area. The planes look great as well.

I'm a 1/48 and above guy so its a no go on the 1/72 kits with stands. I got some ideas on a DIY stand with some stainless Tig wire and wooden base. If that don't pan out, I have seen the acrylic ones for $25 or so online.

Nice looking work friend. Careful, it looks like you are teetering on the edge of the aircraft abyss. Jump in, the water is warm. Hey, where did you get those aircraft display stands? Those look really nice.

Thanks Saltydog and everyone for saying hi! Those both actually came with the kits! The 104 is Tamiya's tiny 1/100 scale, and the F-14 is Hasegawa's new 1/72 tooling, for their ace combat series. All of that series comes with decals from the game and all these awesome stands. Actually this series is what started my plane abyss :D

Very nice and welcome. Do you do bikes as well?

Steve

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Very nice! Never did an F-1 car but I am a big fan. Was at the Nurburgring muesum a few weeks ago while on vacation. Some neet old timers (F-1) cars there.

Love the weathering on the Peugot!

Howdy all! I've been posting a few random questions here and there, but I wanted a chance to show off some of my work and such to prove i just don't ask questions all day ;)

Anyway, here are what I feel to be some of my better work. I MAINLY do F1 and various race cars, but if you look at my stash the aircraft, specifically Navy *cough F-14s cough* are growing quite rapidly. Anyway, onto the goodies

One of my first Mclarens

I just recently won 3rd place in the Houston HAMS society show with this Tamiya RA272

A kit that fought me all along the way, specifically becuase the kit decals are so bad, and aftermarket decals are rarer than a built version of this kit! Hasegawa's Zakspeed

My best work so far in my 1 year back in the hobby, Ebbro's latest Lotus 88

And last but not least, a kit I bought for $2 and turned out to be one of the best and most fun builds i've ever done, Heller's 1/43 Peugot 405 Turbo Paris to Dakar

Also, a few aircraft ;) Thanks for looking guys! Been working for months on a Revell F/A-18 with some goodies, hope to be able to share that with y'all as well soon!
