Hello! I'm Steve I was building models in my teen years but now at 52 I've decided to start again for relaxation lol. Right now I'm focused on WW2 Military planes. After looking at the pics ya"ll have posted I can honestly say I'm jealous, my spray painting skills are non-existant so I'll just stick to brushes. I know I'll be posting more as time goes on.

Welcome to the Forums Steve!  Glad to have you aboard!

You've come to the right place. The members here are very knowledgeable and they are ready to help you with any questions/problems that you have.

Check out the painting sections of the forums. I'm fairly new to airbrushes too and have learned a lot and am still learning. Once you get the hang of it, the only thing you'll use brushes for is little details.

Enjoy!

Welcome Steve Welcome Sign.

Don't be chased off from spraying. There are several things you will want to do that just can't be done using a brush. The builds that you invious of all used an airbrush at some point.

Did you use an airbrush or spray can?

Steve

Welcome aboard! I was also out of the hobby for decades, and using an airbrush was a daunting skill. Slowly but surely I am getting the hang of it, practice makes....well, less sucky results :)
