I am back I guess
Posted by jimbot58 on Friday, January 27, 2017 1:19 AM

I dropped out for quite some time for various reasons. Personal reasons in my life for one, with unexpected job changes, health isues, and not being active in modelling as these issues seemed to take precedent.

My biggest reason though was the upgrading of the forum- I could not seem to log in no matter what I tried. Issues with my password or something and I couldn't get in back to try and even get some help.

Tonight on a whim, I decided to try my luck, and with a new password, find myself restored to my prvious status. I am on a new computer with a different operating system, so I don't know if there were "bugs" that have since been resolved with the forum itself, or the fact that I have migrated to Windows 10 from 7 with the new computer that allowed me back in. What ever the reason, here I am. Now I don't know who might still be around that I knew, but I think many others seemed to fall away for various reason.

Hello forum!

Jim

PS. makes me wonder about the forum as my title turned to gibberish because I used a contraction (Fixed). I guess I will have to be Mr. Data and not use them.

*******

On my workbench now:

It's all about classic cars now!

Why can't I find the "Any" key on my keyboard?

Welcome back Jim. I'm fairly infrequent myself but I still check in now and then. It's good to see you back.

Welcome back Jim. I found that little problem with the title can be fixed if you edit it and reinsert the contraction. This works unless you edit the post at which time you will have to re-edit the title again.

The spell check is still missing though Angry
