Just because a "young mans fancy" turns to girls, does'nt mean he will stop making models. ( It didnt stop me. ) 

Of course he may have to put up with the same commants I did....

cheers mate , i agree i built as a kid  then came back to it 30+ yrs later , he`s still young so gets inpatient at times but i dont force him and he carrys on after a few days or so , he already told me when im dead he wants all my gear lol 

Welcome to the forum, Fred and son!

Building together like that, father and son, is a good way to ensure that your boy will stay with the hobby.  He may give it up when the testosterone first kicks in--it happened to many of us.  But he's likely to take it up again, if he builds as a kid.
