I have been mostly involved with model railroading for many years, and did some 1:48 scale aircraft (P-40B/AT-6) for the O scale airport at our local club. I have started a new project for a family member who was a sheet metal man in the USAF 1st SOW Air Commandos. He was based at Hurlbert Field in north FL while I was still in college. He got to work on all the neat planes that saw there way through the Special Operations Wing there, and later in Danang, RVN and Tahkli RTAF, Thailand. So as a tribute to his experiences, I have taken on 10 project aircraft builds. Hopefully this group can keep me accurate and on track as these builds come to completion.
