Those folks are correct. I am so busy doing 'who knows what' that I would never have time to work. "I don't know what I do all day, but it takes all day to do it."Drinks

I made my spray booth from a plastic storage box that I bought at Ikea.

I cut an opening in the side of the storage box and set the box on a plenum that I made out of MDF precut boards. There is a removable furnace filter that seperates the plenum base from the spray booth.

The exhaust blower is attached to the plenum base. The blower is exhausted to the outside of my house. I bought the blower from Granger. The blower's electric motor is outside of the airflow.

I have been using a cheap $20 bathroom fan with a generic hvac filter strapped to the front of it for over 15 years.  I shoot every kind of paint and have had no issues.  I ran a dryer duct from the fan out the window.

Welcome to Finescale!

Have a look in the Painting & Airbrushing forum, you'll probably find good advice there.

I look forward to seeing your builds.

Best regards,

Brad

If your spraying other than acrylic paints you want a brushless, sealed or out of airflow motor. Welcome to forum

I'm building one too. I picked up a bathroom exhaust fan someone is discarding. Ideally you want a brushless one if you want to spray volital paints.

I type on a tablet. Please excuse the terseness and the autocorrect. Not to mention the erors.
