Revell B-17F Memphis Belle in 1:48

Just wondering if anyone knows if some of the B-17G aftermarket PE and resit kit parts will fit in a B-17F. I've been looking at some kits- cockpit, nose, mid gunner's and tail gunners kits with PE/resin parts. They're pretty pricey but I'd like to upgrade the kit. I realize that the detail in the F is not as good as the G and I might have to work on the fuselage with some ribbing, etc. I'm new to the forum, so be gentle with me on this! LOL!
