Hello Everyone!

Just joined the list. I'm a retired art teacher getting back into modeling WW2 aircraft from when I was a kid. Have a number of kits already to go. Just learning the ropes here.

Can anyone tell me if 1:48 PE & resin parts for a 1:48 Revell B-17G will fit on my 1:48 Revell B-17F? Looking at some kits for the nose, cockpit, mid-section and tail section. Just wondering.

Thanks all.

Welcome aboard. The part of the aircraft that are common to both should fit fine. The issue you will have is with the parts that are specific to the 17G which won't apply to the F. Just check before you buy that the sets are not only useful for the G.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Cool!  I'm saving fly fishing for retirement.  Have done a lot of trout fishing in my years.  Also living on the left coast I've done a bit of tuna fishing.  Been a few years since I've been on a stream or a boat but still love it.

Agree with the hobbies - I have so many I tend to rotate :)

Thanks,

John
