I just started modeling about 2 years ago and have lurked the forums here and there.....figured I should go ahead and join for real! I enjoy modeling airplanes, especially airliners, as I fly for a living. I’m looking forward to chatting and getting more info/advice/inspiration from FineScale forums and website. Have a great week.

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Ah , Just Plain Jon ;
That would be shortened to JPJ right ? Hey Welcome Aboard ;
I like Airliners too . But , My interest the Mega Liners i.e. the 747 ,MD - whatever and the giant Airbusses is not there . I like the planes that brought us here . D.C.-3 , and whatever they called the civilian version of the C-46 ,D.C. -6 - B , D.C. -7-C and the 707 , 727 ad infinitum .
The newer planes do not ring a bell in me emotionally .Now , fire up the four engines on a D.C.-7-C and you'll get my attention Immediately ! Or let me hear the starting sequence on a Connie !
