I can only hope that the man upstairs has a workbench ready for me and lets me take them with me when I go to the great workroom in the sky.

Now that would be Heaven.

Steve

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Welcome to the Forums Jimmy! Glad to have you aboard.

I started building at the ripe old age of 6 and am now 77. I build whatever strikes my fancy at the time and my wallet gives me the OK. Wink My favorites are WWI & WWII planes followed by sailing ships. I have a stash that will take me at least 200 to 300 years to finish. Guess I can only hope that the man upstairs has a workbench ready for me and lets me take them with me when I go to the great workroom in the sky.

Look forward to seeing your work. If you have any questions/problems just ask. That's what we're here for.

Howdy !

Jimmy D
I've amassed a large stash of kits in my collection going all the way back to around 1968, and at my present completion rate, I should have them all built by my 472nd birthday, or not.

                       L O L

I often tell people that I "should " get all my kit's built by  the year 2799. ( You must be good .... you will be finished before me. )

Welcome to the FSM Forum .

Hi All, I'm Jimmy D and I've been a long time subscriber to FSM. This is my first attempt to link up with this community and I'm looking forward to sharing and exchanging ideas with y'all on the many aspects of this amazing hobby. I've been engaged in scale modeling throughout most of my life going all the way back to the prehistoric times in the 1950's. I'm what many would probably call "a seasoned citizen modeler", and in my case, very seasoned! My interests are fairly broad, though they are mostly focused on 1/72nd scale aircraft and 1/25th scale cars and trucks. I've amassed a large stash of kits in my collection going all the way back to around 1968, and at my present completion rate, I should have them all built by my 472nd birthday, or not.
