Welcome Zat!
This is a great place to share and learn.
You sound a bit like me. I'm 4+ decades without any model building. Got interested to re-start the hobby 4 years ago and joined the Forum and started a stash of kits. I Retired 2 years ago and jumped right in. Wow is there a lot to learn since the 60's!
Thanks for joining.
Nino.
Howdy !
ZAT I'm sure I'll be begging for help soon...
Begging wont help...... but "Asking" will get you all the answer's you need.
( Save the "Begging", for when you get your Thumbprint on the best paintjob of your life..... even then... the model will just Laugh at you.
Welcome to FSM.
Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"

Buddy- Those who say there are no stupid questions have never worked in customer service.
Welcome to the world of mid life model building. Yes it is much different than when we were kids doing this. It's a lot of fun learning the new techniques being used today. Lot's of great information here.

Hello all! Ive been reading the forums for a few weeks now that I have gotten back into building models since childhood. Thought it was time to sign up. Its been a few decades since having built anyhting, 3.5 to be specific, and boy have things changed. Airbrushing, weathering, panel lining... information overload!
Just wrapping up a second 1/48 F4U Corsair to see how/if my skills are improving. I'm sure I'll be begging for help soon...
