It might be agreed that it is only right and proper that I extend a warm welcome to you onto the forum.

Welcome to the Forums! Glad to have you aboard.

I'm just a little east of you in Narvon. That's just down the road from the Morgantown exit of the Pa. Turnpike.

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone.

I do know Narvon, I think I recall doing some work there not too long ago.

Gusdog

Thanks Justinryan215,

Isn't King of Prussia in Montgomery County? That is about the only area that I know. The Duluth Trading Store is in KoP I think, and we frequesnt that at least once per month. They have the best work pants that I have ever used.

yup, it sure is!  But I am just a wee bit more east than the KOP mall....I'm just off the willow Grove exit of the turnpike....

Thanks for the invite on that. I actually may take you up on the offer sometime. I generally do not get out that way, but I know i have a few project bids for that general area that are sitting in my pile of "stuff to bid" in the corner of my desk.

There is a local IPMS chapter here, they meet in Mechanicsburg, but I havent reached out to anyone as of yet, but i have been considering checking that out.

Gusdog

Thanks for the welcomes everyone.

Brad, i guess it would be more accurate to say south central PA. I live in Camp Hill, however ym fiance's parents live in Watsontown, and her extended family lives in Elysburg, Bloomsburg, Sundury, etc, which i believe is the same part of the map as Northumberland?

Welcome, fellow member of the Commonwealth!  I'm in South East Pa, just outside of Philly, in Montgomery county!

Ah, OK, yeah, Camp Hill, just past Harrisburg.  A little past the border between Sheetz territory and Wawa territory.

Yes, Sunbury and Northumberland are across from one another, on opposite sides of the Susquehanna, where the West and North Branches come together.

You're not far, though.  If you find yourself out our way, we've got a local club here, the Lehigh Valley Scale Modelers, meeting every other Wednesday evening at a local AC Moore.  We have a Facebook page, too (instead of a website), with a good number of people participating online.

Welcome to the forum, Gusdog, from the Lehigh Valley!  I look forward to seeing your builds.

Whereabouts in Central PA?  My dad's family is from Northumberland.

Best regards,

Brad

Hello everyone. After "lurking" on the forums for some time, I decided to finally create an account and try to become active. I have been away from the hooby for quite a long time, and the information I have learned from everyone on this forum has been invaluable. All of your advice has helped to build my tool arsenal.

At this time my interest is mainly WW2 armor, but I do have some cold war era aircraft on my radar, mostly because my father served in the Air Force during that time, and worked on F-89s, F-104s, and F-100s.

I look forward to meeting you all.
