Welcome back Matt.  Is that a Muskie in your pic?
Looks a bit too green to be a pike, but the picture's really small so I'm not sure.
Either way, nice fish!

Though I live in Colorado now, I spent my first 40 years next door in Minnesota so if you ever want to talk fishin'...

 You are correct!  It was only 30 inches but is one of only two muskies I've ever caught and it was a nice surprise since I was casting for smallies at the time.

 

Ha, that's always a nice surprise.  Once I was fishing for bluegills with an ultralight slip-bobber rig.  Hooked a fat one and proceeded to reel it in.  Large muskie suddenly grabbed the bluegill, jumps out of the water, throws my flu-flu jig in one direction and the fish in another, and disappeared in a big splash.   lol.
