I'm not originally from Baltimore...I grew up in Northern Virginia and moved here after college to teach.

I've been building models since 1946 which is 72 of my 78 years. Loved every minute of it, well, there was that time back in...................  

I build whatever strikes my fancy at the time and my wallet says OK. My favorites are WWI and WWII planes followed by sailing ships as you can see from my avatar.

You've come to the right place. The members are very knowledgeable and are ready to help with any questions/problems that you might have. They don't criticize, they help.

Welcome aboard, Pineapple. I grew up in Baltimore. I moved up to Harford County about 30 years ago though. Be careful down there. It's not the safest place in Maryland.
