Hello, I started modeling when I was about 8 yrs old. Hard to remember back that far, but yeah, you could say I have the modeling bug. I started, back then, building and customizing 1:24th cars, performance cars that is : ) I then jumped up to 1:35th tanks and other armor when I was 12. I built, with my dad's help, a 1:72 B-52! As I grew, I gained more intrest in girls, real cars, and work.
Later in life, after things calmed down a bit, I started buying models again. Started with the 1:24th cars, moved up to 1:35th armor, then took on 1:72 planes, helecopters and even took that 1:72 B52 on by my self. Been modeling for about 20 or so years now.
I have quite a few models built now. My favorites are the B-52 of course, the 18 Wheeler Wrecker Truck, the Monster Truck pulls a good second to the Semi-Wrecker, but I enjoy all my models and modeling as an art.
I also have a 1970 Plymouth Duster, a real one : ) and keep it up too. Draftsman by trade, Model builder by night.
Glad to have found this forum. I look forward to meeting like minded people and maybe getting some hints on techniques. I went to the hobby shop today, met a fellow member and he told me about this site. Thank you! Glad to be here.
