All-Things-Armor

Hey Marcus!

Far West Side here. Next to Alamo Ranch. Has the traffic there gotten as bad as it is here? lol!

But thanks for the welcome. I'm happy to be here.

Thousand Oak and 281, No not as bad as Alamo Ranch.  The growth there as out paced the road system.

Thank you, did you know that Sprue Man rearranged spells Super man exactly? Cool! I don't know if you did that on purpose or not, but that's neat.

Hello from San Antonio
Posted by All-Things-Armor on Tuesday, September 10, 2019 5:00 PM

Hello, I started modeling when I was about 8 yrs old. Hard to remember back that far, but yeah, you could say I have the modeling bug. I started, back then, building and customizing 1:24th cars, performance cars that is : ) I then jumped up to 1:35th tanks and other armor when I was 12. I built, with my dad's help, a 1:72 B-52! As I grew, I gained more intrest in girls, real cars, and work.

Later in life, after things calmed down a bit, I started buying models again. Started with the 1:24th cars, moved up to 1:35th armor, then took on 1:72 planes, helecopters and even took that 1:72 B52 on by my self. Been modeling for about 20 or so years now.

I have quite a few models built now. My favorites are the B-52 of course, the 18 Wheeler Wrecker Truck, the Monster Truck pulls a good second to the Semi-Wrecker, but I enjoy all my models and modeling as an art.

I also have a 1970 Plymouth Duster, a real one : ) and keep it up too. Draftsman by trade, Model builder by night.

Glad to have found this forum. I look forward to meeting like minded people and maybe getting some hints on techniques. I went to the hobby shop today, met a fellow member and he told me about this site. Thank you! Glad to be here.
