Welcome to the Forums! Glad to have you with us.

If you have any questions/problems, don't be afraid to ask. That's what we're here for. We've all been there at one time or another.

Captain Flannigan
I'm not very good

Non of us are

Captain Flannigan
but i'd like to get better.

That's why we are here Cap'tn. Just ask what ever you want, nothing is stupid and we all went through it. I'll tell you a little secret, if you don't ask it, it will take longer to learn it. there's never enough time to do it right but always enough time to redo it.

I've been building for 54 years and wish I'd learned that 54 years ago.

What subjects do you like?

40 year hiatus, eh?  That's a pretty good one.  Welcome back, and welcome to the forum!  What are your interests, what would you like to build?  I look forward to seeing your builds!

Best regards,

Brad

Welcome back.  I was out of it for about the same ammount of time.  Completely different world now, better kits, detail, aftermarket goodies, photo etch, better paint and materials.

Best of all, the members here are the most supportive I've found.  They will give freely of time and expertise to help avoid pitfalls, along with tips and tricks.  They have saved my tail feathers on more than one occasion.

They are also the most generous bunch you ever want to see.  If you need something that is no longer available and they have it, they are very quick to offer.
