New Yet Not New
Posted by SNOOPY on Sunday, January 26, 2020 8:17 PM

I find this funny but there may be a reason for it but after being away for a while I tried to log in using my old sign in but got the message no account found.  So I thought maybe it was my password but then my email is not found which is also funny because I keep getting emails about FSM gallery and review topics.  So I decided to create a new account.  I go into the forum using my new account credentials and to my surprise, my old user name "SNOOPY" comes up with my profile picture.  I just find that funny.  I have been out doing RC Modeling of airplanes but now I would like to get back into plastic modeling.  I just wanted to say hello and hope to make some new friends.  I know absolutely no one in my area the builds models or even belongs to IPMS clubs (Syracuse, NY).

Welcome Sign back! :)

Hopefully you have a good return. I live about an hour away from Syracuse, but also am not into any of the clubs. There are still modelers around, even though all of the stores in my area have closed.

Welcome back the dark side Snoop. I also fly along with several others in the forum, but don't have any place to fly where I live that I can afford. The only real place is expensive, far away and the flyers are clickish.  Much nicer in here.

Welcome Sign

Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Welcome back to the Forums and the hobby! Glad to have you with us.

I also flew R/C for years but switched to Sailboats. I could fly OK, but, landing was a problem.Wink Never stopped building plastic and wood models from the first one in 1946 (6 years old).

Stick around and you will find a lot of modelers in your area.
