Hello,
Been lurking this site and forum, on and off for years but just joind.
Been building models since I was a kid and am now in spitting distance of retirement. Ships have been my favored subject, all kinds but I've been known to go off on multi year Armor and Aircraft tangents. About the only popular subject I never got into was autos.
My current tangent is 3D printing. I have to admit I was suprised by how little chatter there is on this forum about them. The new cheap SLA printers in particulare are so useful for replacing tiny & smallish kit parts that don't measure up to ones standards.
That said I'll try and post a couple pictures of my work.
A conventional model, Hasegawa's 1/450 Missouri with a ton of traditional modifications
And a couple 3D printed and assembled projects: USS Texas and a US m26 Pershing tank
