Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Welcome to the forum, JCM!
For aircraft, I build mostly 1/48, but I have a good number of 1/72 kits and builds, too. When I was a kid (b. 1964), there wasn't much detail in a 1/72 kit, but you could build an impressive collection and display it easily. Today, good detail is much more common in 1/72.
I look forward to seeing your builds!
Best regards,
Brad
