I'm back.... after many years.
Hi, folks. This is Gary Mason, aka Devil Dawg (well, now it's Devil Dawg II, as the site wouldn't let me retrieve my old screen name). I've been away for quite a while (a few years) due to major neck and lower back surgeries, a surprise divorce, two heart attacks, cataract surgery, moving to the Asheville, NC, area, and a few other things. I also got married again to the best woman anyone could ever have!
But, things seem to have settled down now, so I'm gonna try to get back into modeling. It's probably been three years (maybe more) since I last touched a model. I still have my stash, which is at approximately 170 kits, and it will probably grow some by this weekend, as there is an AMPS show in Columbia, SC, this coming Saturday (17 June 2023) that I plan to attend. As you know, any true modeler can't attend a show without adding to the stash!
My main interest is 1/48th & 1/32nd USMC aircraft, but I have a little bit of other subjects in the stash as well (cars, motorcycles, a ship or two, etc.).
My house in Arden, NC, is three stories with a basement that I plan on getting ready for modeling and crafts very soon. My wife loves hobbies, too (including modeling!), so we both will share that area.
Looking forward to hearing from everyone, and seeing all the builds on here. Sorry that I was away for so long. Hopefully, it won't happen again.
