Uh, I think I'll be leaving the same way I came in.
My enthusiasm has been rather crushed by the astounding standard of
quality modellers all over the world are capable of. there's no way for
me to match it or even make something I could honesty consider
satisfactory. All in all, I know I could finish a model to some extent,
but I also know I'd never be able to be happy with it, especially the
painting aspect, which would require so much monetary sacrifices for
equipment that I could never justify.
In case it's not apparent, I'm mildly bipolar, and when I get excited
about something, I really get into it, for a brief period of time. It
always wears out. I've never stuck with any one hobby continuously for
over three months, and that's just not enough time.
Then comes the check, the change, the fall.
Pain rises up, old pleasures pall,
There is one remedy for all.
Look at these people, these human beings; consider their potential! From the day they arrive on the planet, blinking, step into the sun, there is more to see than can ever be seen, more to do than... no, hold on. Sorry, that's The Lion King. But, the point still stands... leave them alone!
