I thought the idea of an introduction forum was a great idea so I'll make use of it.
Im a pilot for an airline in Papua New Guinea who has a long standing interest in aviation history in the region, mainly bush flying and world war two subjects. The upside of being an aviation freak in New Guinea is the rich aviation environment this country has, the downside is that the nearest hobby store is in Australia.
Im sure Im not the only guy who lives in an region remote from modelling supplies yet has access to the internet. I would be interested to hear from other modellers in remote regions about what they think of online shopping for kits and supplies. Have your experiences been good or bad?
