Hello from Upstate New York
Posted by the doog on Tuesday, January 9, 2007 12:07 AM
Just wanna throw a "hello" out there from the Fingerlakes area! I'm new to the site and have already gotten some great advice. I'm a big treadhead, and mostly deal with German WWII stuff, but I build an occasional Sherman or modern stuff. Amazing where the hobby's going isn't it? I wish they'd start doing molded-on zimmerit in 1/35 though; it'd be nice to do a "weekender" Porsche Tiger II or a StuG in waffle pattern...hey, feel free to chime in! I wanna apologize for having such a lame-looking post too; I haven't figured out how to use those "avatars" yet-my connection keeps "timing out" when I try to edit my profile. So I'm stuck being just a plain white boring doog. Arf!

Welcome to The Forum, doog.

I have same modeling interests, but on a smaller (& cheaper & easier to store) scale (1/72 & 1/76).

Enjoy!
