Looks like there is where i spill my guts......er...i mean, introduce myself! I'm Roger, and i had been absent from the craft for about 10 years now, but i'm announcing my return here. Kinda interesting too. My wife and i were talking about what to do with the home office decor while she is currently overseas (we are a dual military couple), and she uttered the words that every guy loves to hear (it makes no difference to me!) So with a sick and evil grin on my face, here i am with a new line of projects and am looking forward to really jumping into them. That is, once my new airbrush and compressor arrive! (I bought em off ebay, what can i say?)
It has been an awful long while, i'll admit. I'm far from being pretty good, but i'm hoping my fellow nerds here can help me out with that! I'm mostly an aircraft guy that sticks with 1/48 scale, but i've been known to do some cars, ships and sci fi from time to time.
Currently residing in Orange County, California. Like i said, my wife and i are both military. I'm a crew chief based out of Los Alamitos Army Airfield, so i do have some inside knowledge of Helicopters- though i dunno if this will help me so much with modelling. Also very much in love with my car as well (70 Charger 500), enjoy photography, rock climbing, and anything taking me into the desert (hence the name "DesertRat"). Anyways, i look forward to picking some of your brains from time to time, and hopefully sharing my progress with you gents (and ladies, if they're in here too). Have a great evening!
