Hello!, Everyone. I am a rookie in modeling building, and I like building WWII model airplanes. My question is: Can you put a flat clear coat ( whether it is acrylic or enamel based) over a future wax coat?
Here is some background on the model: A 1/32 scale corsair, painted with Kustom Color enamel paint thinned with custom color reducer, coated with future wax with decals, and the model is washed and weathered. I just wanted to dull it down somewhat with a flat clear coat, but I don't want to ruin my paint. Any answer or reply wouldbe greatly appreciated.
Also, when you have two different colors of paint touching each other How do you get them to sort of smoothly meet each other without having a clear line of seperation. Like a P40 tomahawk, camoflauge paint schemes, or the tri-color scheme of a corsair or a hellcat? I think is called filtering (a painting technique).
Thanks, joey
