Pleased to have found this forum.

Have recently got back into modelling WW2 era warships after nearly 20 yrs. Modelled for about 2yrs as a young teenager, then just stopped.

All it took to get me started again was looking through some pics of US battleships in navsourse.

So far I have put together the Hasegawa USS Ticonderoga, Tamiya Yamato, Missouri, Scharnhorst & the Trumpeter USS Washington. Kits awaiting a start are the Trumpeter USS North Carolina, Tamiya King George V & Hasegawa USS Alabama. Am looking at an IJN carrier, maybe the Akagi, Kaga or Zuikaku, Shokaku. All are 1/700 scale. I also purchased the Trumpeter 1/350 North Carolina yesterday.

Looking forward to being here.

Ya came to the right place! There's lotsa guys (and gals) here that share the same passion as you. It's gonna be great here, you'll see!

Oh, and just for the record now; iI'm REALLY looking forward to seeing that Trumpeteer USS North Carolina whenever it is ya get around to it! Hope ya share pics with us!
