Namredef:

You'll have to wait about a year (or so) to see pictures of this "rigged ship" .  It will take me that long to get the hull done and the masts and bowsprit stepped.  I ennvy the "plastic guys" when it comes to time spent in construction.  I did Revell"s Cutty Sark and Constitution in plastic years ago and did both of them in the time it has taken me to get this far on my Victory in wood.

I'll be posting pic's of my  "Gun Station" tomorrow, hope you enjoy it.

I'm hoping to learn a lot here in the "art of the diorama", I intend to man my ship with a crew and mount it in a water scene.  I have no Idea how to do that; so I'll be asking all kinds of questions.

Painting tips also; I can't paint worth a darn.

Welcome to the Forum!  I have learned a huge amount from fellow modelers that visit here.  Look forward to seeing your work!

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

The ship should take just over a year to complete (I hope) might be longer.

I'll be working for the next two days (semi-retired) then I'll try and post photo's of my gunstation (just completed).

Stumbling around other forums, found this one.  I do model sailing ships.  Just finished a Panart gun station and am currently working on a 1:94 scale HMS Victory as at Tralfagar.

90% of hull planked and painted; now working on deck furniture and starting to taper masts.

Look forward to visiting often.
