b52 man,

Saw something on the military channel about the B52.  If I'm correct they said that by the time it leaves service the B52 would have flown very close to 100 years.  With that said it also stated that there is very little of the original plane that has not been replaced.

Sign - Welcome [#welcome] the the forums b52 man!

SOunds like your display would be as accurate as they come after spending that much time workings on BUFFs!

Italeri has a 1/72 B-52H, and you can find it here.

As for companies that carry accesories, try these:

Sign - Welcome [#welcome] to the forums.

It's not 1/72 but Acadamy has a 1/144 B-52H.

I have gottem back into the ideal of modeling again as a hobby,

I sent 12 years in the USAF as a SAC Born Warrior, and worked on B-52G and H Model Stratofortress. I have desided that my first diorama in 18 year will be of a b-52 h on alert 1/72 scale.

seeing how I know all about the proceedure and the details of the aircraft and what the alert aircraft looks like sitting with all of its Special Weapons, and were all the remove before flight streamers go I thought this would be a great start.

I would be interested in hearing from you more active modelers about companies that provide accesories and other finer details for aircraft and flight line equipment. I would love to get ahold of a B-4 or B-5 maintenance stand. I have even tracked down a scale model of an airport oskosh firetruck

thank you, and you can drop me an e-mail at bsmaddux@sbcglobal.net
