As for your question, I used to run into that same problem when building RC aircraft.  Sorry to say, but the only way I know of to get rid of the burned adges is a very light sanding.  Good luck!

Welcome to the Forums Greg Sign - Welcome [#welcome].  Sorry I can't help with your question.  I'm strictly a styrene/resin kind a guy.

Sign - Welcome [#welcome] to the forums.  As for the questions, I can't help in that department but there are plenty of people with tons of information that are more than willing to share and help others.  All you need to do is ask.

First rookie question!

Hi,

I have built quite a few of the Tamiya 1/6 motorcycle kits, and love their precision; however, for the new year, I have decided to try out wooden kit building...I have just started the Model Expo 1/16 Sopwith Camel, and would really appreciate some tips on how to remove the "burned" edges on the laser-cut pieces of this kit.....sanding only seems to put a dent in this ugly brown edge....

Thanks!
