G'day!

G'day fellow modellers.

I'm Nick and, as may already be obvious, from Australia! I'm into 1/35 modern Aussie stuff, and 1/35 and 1/48 choppers of all descriptions.  I'm currently studying for a heli-license, so whirly birds are really the centre of my attention at the moment! Generally modern stuff is my focus, and I must be one of the few who have no interest whatsoever in WW2!! Well, with a couple of exceptions - would love a 1/48 Catalina (if I could justify $130+ for the OOP kit!) and I spose have a soft spot for flying boats on the whole.

I am one of those modellers who seems to never finish anything properly, and certainly I have a number of projects almost finished, inc 1/35 ADF Blackhawk, 1/48 RAF Sea King HAR3, 1/48 RCAF Rescue Bell 212, 1/35 ADF ASLAV (LAV-25), 1/35 ADF Unimog. With many more along the same lines waiting in the sidelines, inc 1/48s of RAN Sea King, RAN Squirrel, ADF Kiowa, Bell 412 (Belcher Bits), 1/35s of ADF Hueys (Bushranger and slick), ADF M1A1 Abrams, ADF M88A1, and a couple of 1/72 kits - RVHP King Air and Pavla R22. So, lots on!

Right now I am in hiatus from modelling, away from home on an isolated cattlestation in the outback for a few months, and using resources like the FSM forums to build up the reference material that I need to clear a few hurdles on my stalled projects, not to mention keep the fire burning!

Wondering if anyone can tell me how to include pics in my posts? Have had a couple of abortive attempts, and no luck so far...

<>Cheers!

Nick.
