Out of the garage and into the Docks!

Good afternoon,
I'm not new to model building. I've been building model cars since I was young as I came from a family of gear heads. Over the years I kind of lost interest and would only do one about a year or so, mainly because I would get a kit for a birthday or christmas. But over the last couple of months my interest has moved on to model ships, mainly sailing ships. And now its as if it's a whole new hobby i'm pretty excited about it and it's already driving my wife nuts. I really enjoy digging into the history of these ships to get to know what it is that your building. I'm sure I'll be needing tips and advice as the kits get harder and harder. Right now i'm working on the HMS Victory from Revell-Germany.
