From one Chris to another-- Welcome to the forums! we're glad to have you here. If your interested, there is a thread going on in the armor forums right now about the M114 and what kits and aftermarket sets would be best to replicate one (in 1/35 though).

once again welcome!

Hi guys.  Chris from Charleston, SC.  Modelled a little bit over the years, mostly WWII aircraft, modern armor, jets.  I decided to join up here because I want to re-create the M1114 gun truck I had in Iraq.  it took care of me so I want to remember it by displaying it on my desk.  So far I haven't had any luck finding it in other than 1/72 scale.  15 buck for that tiny thing is a little steep in my opinion.  I'd like to find one or one I can convert in 1/24 or 1/25.  Anyway, lots of good info here, you guys know modelling.

C'ya,

 Chris
