Hi there.
I'm a 16 year old boy who has been doing models for 8 years or so, where my dad teached me most. But as I got two kits of Tamiya's 1/48 serie (Panther and a StuG III G), I have been modelling serious (painting them, spending time with them, making them good, not to model one and smash it with my door...)
I have just posted one of my models on this forum which is a 1/48 tanker with some added details.
I recently got an airbrush as well. A Badger 175 Crescendo one. Haven't painted to much, but my first model I tried it on came out very well. And it was the Panther, which I'm using a horrible amount of hours on...
I like to model armour and military trucks/cars (Do they go into the same category?) and figures. I'm also into modelling Warhammer 40.000, as well as playing with them (would these models go into sci-fi section or armour/figures?)
I live in middle Norway, 2 hours south of Trondheim. I love cameras and are currently trying to make a studio-in-a-box. I enjoy the history of WWII, and are trying to learn as much as I can. I have also been in contact with many historians, and teached some of them a couple of details as well... I'm mainly into the western and eastern front.
I love the 'Allo 'Allo! show, as well as Hogan's Heroes , which combinemy two favorite, WWII and comedy.
I'm also currently trying to save up for a WWII replica uniform. An SS - Schafhürer, Hohenstaufen that is.
I don't think there's anything more to add, so thanks for reading.
