Just wanted to say hello to all.

I am very interested in Military type models of all types but mostly Aircraft. I have been modeling for over 35 years but do not consider myself an expert or an experienced modeler. I want to improve my skills and I think that by watching this forum and communicating with you all, I can become better. I know that you all are very experienced modelers and I want to know the tricks to realism and painting techniques. I love detail in models and I have this "block" that makes me think that you have to work in large scale models to get that detail. I know I am wrong but cannot get that idea out of my head. I want to feel like I can get good details from 1/72 scale just the same as I can get it from 1/32 or 1/24 scale. Anyway, I will be watching and hopefully learning from all of you and I really appreciate being here. Please send me your thoughts and ideas regarding this and any other items that you all feel would help.

Thanks!
