Wow where were you when I was trying to figure out some nose art? LOL. I actually still like a lot of older kits. They may not be as accurate or detailed but I sometimes like an easier build that may be nostalgic. Something that I did once way back when.. Hope to hear and see more from you as I need all the help I can get!Big Smile [:D]

Hello everyone!  I've lurked here for a month or two and after coming out of the closet(where I rediscovered old decaying model armor and planes and even a few unbuilt nearly thirty year old Tamiya and Bandai kits and contacted model building fever as well) I decided to do a few models now and again.  Those years ago, I really was into being as authentic and weathered as possible.  Those old kits weren't good but not so bad either.  I do believe the folks in the forum can help me do some decent modeling though I will probably never be as top-flight as most here.  I must say I have been blown away by what I have seen and read.  Really, between the rediscovery of that old stash and the Forum I have the modelers fever and drool!

I live in the Portland, Oregon(Orrygun) metro area and am a fine artist specializing in maritime art(ships, especially WWI and sail) and the figure(female figure).  I am especially excited to apply some of my painting knowledge to finishing both armor and planes, though mostly armor.

I do want to thank Fine Scale and all the members here for the opportunity to see your wonderful work and for your un-selfish sharing of all the myriad elements that go into the building of amazing models.  Perhaps one of these days I can be an added asset to this modeling community.

Best Regards
