Let the newbie get a kill!!!
Posted by Check6 on Friday, June 13, 2008 5:07 PM
Hello everyone, my name is Steve/35/AZ. I recently started to build models again and loving it. I actually started collecting 4yrs ago and when i learned about Ebay, and boy did i spent some $$$$$. I have a quite of collection now building up in my Hobby room that i had to kick my wife out of and give her another smaller room for her office. I started mostly in the WWII 1/48 scale and realize 1/35 armor has quite of selection too so i enjoy both. Eventually i would like to join the local Tucson IPMS and learn to build dioramas and maybe do some kit trading with my duplicates. My life has been with the military community thoughout. My dad being in the Air Force, I lived in Germany for ten years as a teenager and experience what was once the land of the battlefields. I now serve in the best military in the world, the U.S. Air Force, and been doing it for almost 15yrs. Thanks everyone.

Thanks namrednef. Yes, it did took a great encouraging to my wife that our walk-in closet was getting smaller and smaller due to the fact my kits are multiplying like rabbits on blue pills. Looking forward to learning some great info and meet good friends.
