Although I've subscribed to FSM for many years I've only just logged on as a member.  I've been building models since my pre-teens and had quite a collection of planes and 54mm figures but lost them all during a house fire in 1995.  I've been slowly building the collection back up, but since I've recently retired I should have plenty of time to devote to my favorite hobby.  My main interest is aircraft from WWI through WWII with an occasional jet and figures from any age.  I plan to be very active in the forums and hope to learn from fellow members and share what I know.

Sign - Welcome [#welcome] to the forums!  Sorry to hear about losing your collection in a fire, but glad to hear you're working hard on restoring it to it's former glory. Thumbs Up [tup]

Sorry about the fire, in my younger years that was the way that all of my models ended up.

I'm from the government and I'm here to help.
