I like to use Model master and Polly Scale most of the time but will use other brands if they have the color I need.

 Welcome Dr.

I enjoy building the Italeri kits. They build pretty easy and are a good start if you want to add some detail.

As far as paints, I use Vallejo and Oils, for just about everything. I've got a few of the ModelMaster enamels around still. The acrylics are the best IMHO, they dry fast, you can apply an oil wash right over them, and the fumes don't send ya to the darkside of the moon.Big Smile [:D]

Remember "If you can't have fun what you're doing, then do somebody else" or is it "Do something else"? I can't remember too many enamel vapors logded in the old cranial cavity.

 Enjoy the forums,

 Best Regards,

P.S. You shouldn't have doubts about the Italeri brand. They make quality kits, and are great to build. Smile [:)]

Welcome to the Forums Sign - Welcome [#welcome].  Citadel paints are very good for painting Fantasy Miniatures, although I prefer Vallejo.  I particularly like the Citadel inks which are very useful for washes.  Vallejo has recently added inks to their line as well, but I haven't tried them yet.

As for paints, I use mostly Gunze and Tamiya as well, but for brush painting I really like Vallejo. Thumbs Up [tup]
