Everyone,
Dump all your photo links on this thread so the folks who could not make it can see what we saw!
I'll go first - here are some pics I took. Not necessarily the winners, just ones I liked.

I missed a bunch of really cool models, so please help fill in the gaps!

Here are photos of the upcoming 1/72 Orion Shuttle from 2001:
Cockpit and cabin interiors - the lighting guys will love this!
And a separate, smaller 1/350 kit:
A hint of a space station kit?
WOW! The quality of the work is mind blowing. Have they released the information as to how many kits were entered? Thanks for posting this photos.

I believe it was around 2,600 models. Someone correct me if they have actual data.

Thank you for doing this Real G.

I apologize for the limited coverage, as a friend was taking the majority of photos. I missed a lot of really good models, like the full scratch CH-54 Skycrane. I also missed the dumpster and the KFC diorama.
Here is a link to all of my photos. Although I took a lot of photos I missed a bunch of amazing builds. I had to ensure that I used my time to not only take pics but to also stop and enjoy the amazing talent exhibited here.

Thanks for posting. Increadible work as usual.
Thanks,

You're close G. It was 6280 entries.
Steve
Building a kit from your stash is like cutting a head off a Hydra, two more take it's place.

Thanks for posting that G and thank you Joe for providing them. I have several I can send you G if you want to put them up as well.
The "Yellow Submarine" was entered in the Boise chapter in 19. It won first in it's class.
Joe caught me taking a close up of something.
Here is the Best of Show winner.
I missed that one Steve. Don't know how though, as it is a honking big model, and I love the Skycrane. I had the Revell kit with the cargo pod and 105mm howitzer.
Thanks guys for taking and posting these!!!
Not surprised that at a national level show everyone brought their A game to town!

A friend of mine once commented that the Nationals was like the Olympics of modeling.
The pressure to perform is high for us guys from Hawaii, since the "Hawaii Mafia" has set a high standard for us to uphold. A former Mafia member got the George Lee Memorial Award for his 1/144 Airfix 727 - it had a complete scratchbuilt interior and tires turned on a lathe! He was working on the interior while he was living in Hawaii, so we got to see the components being built. Individual hand made seats... I can only dream of attempting to climb that mountain!
Hey 'G', thanks so much for the photos. I've seen some of the stuff on You Tube, but your phots are far better. Loooove the skeletal German in the figures section!
I long to live in a world where chickens can cross the road without having their motives questioned
Joe I couldn't open your link, but thanks to 'G' I was able to see your pics. Thank you so much. What great photos, although I must say I feel a bit like Hutch, don't know wether to feel inspired or demoralised. Awesome, awesome work on those tables.
Agree. :)Thanks, G, for sharing the photos. :)
