I think I see some silvering on her. We're gonna have to strip 'er and give 'er a coat of Future. Yeah, that's it. A "future" with me, and a wedding ring, and a seat at my bench, where she can coo sweet nothings in my ear while marveling at the unadulterated perfection of my skills. Yeah, that's the ticket.

Agree with the too thin.  Scale is a bit off.

I build 1/48 scale WW2 fighters.

Have fun.

OK, guys. Let's remember that there are some women on this forum and we want them to stay. Keep the comments about body, no matter how veiled, off the Forum. And if you think we're being too sensitive about this, then I accept the burden of the nambypamby moderator.

However, in the spirit of the thread (I think):

Good job there, Tim. Wink

It's always a good idea to keep a bottle of debonder on the workbench.  Unfortunately, I always glue the fingers of both hand together, so I can't open the debonder.

Tim, if you don't mind a little critique of your methods

look up the word "Sparingly",,,,,just for grins, lol

I could not resist,,,,,that looks like someone told you to "apply a huge sticky glob of super glue",,,,,so you followed their words exactly

not being elitist at all,,,,,,,I probably have glued my fingers to something more often than gluing two model parts together (I make excellent finger prints in paint and liquid cement also,,,,,I have decades of practice)

She could do with some resin upgrades to improve the shape a bit, and a flat coat to dull down the spangly mauve, I realise it only an airshow paint job but still.....

Luckily, that pic wasn't of me. No, no, no, no. I go for the more extreme super glue accidents, like the time I was holding a piece of balsa in my mouth while trying to glue another stick to the other end and ran the glue onto my lips. My dad came to the rescue with a razor blade and very steady hands.

Then there was the time in high school when I was giving a presentation about modeling, and I was trying to impress upon my audience the tenacity with which CA glue will join your fingers together. I put a good bead of thick Zap-A-Gap on my thumb and showed everyone that flesh could bond with flesh on an almost molecular level.

Then there was the Great Cat Incident of '88, when our cat Murphy got into the airplane dope.

]I have 12 cats here. we have a LARGE rat population so they pay for themselfs as far as hunting goes. But the things they do to ship rigging or the roll of masking tape well... sometimes the "accidental " gluing isnt!        BTW... I have "The victim model from  mobius models and I think she has more meat on her than the "supermodel at the beginning of this thread!

Dont worry about the thumbprint, paint it Rust , and call it "Battle Damage"
